DUE and Viettel launch Tammi OA, aiming to build a learner-centric digital ecosystem

On September 16, 2026, the University of Economics - University of Danang, in collaboration with Viettel, launched the “Tammi OA - The University of Economics -University of Danang” model, a concrete step in the university’s digital transformation strategy, focusing on enhancing students’ access to information, interaction, and use of digital services.

Attending the ceremony, from Viettel Corporation were: Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh - General Director; Ms. Pham Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director of the Mobile Center; Ms. Pham Thu Huong - Director of the Digital Life Services Center; Mr. Bui Dinh Khoa - Head of Strategy. 

From Viettel Danang: Ms. Nguyen Vu Tra My - Director; Mr. Hoang Ngoc Phuong - Deputy Director of Individual Customer Services; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi - Deputy Director of Enterprise Customer Services; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Deputy Director of Enterprise Customer Services; Ms. Le Thi Hue - Deputy Director of Solutions and IT.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy emphasized: “We expect Tammi OA to gradually become one of the digital touchpoints between the university and learners—a place where students not only receive information but also interact and access digital services and utilities conveniently. Looking further ahead, with online interaction and AI assistant capabilities, we hope this platform will continue to develop, so that technology not only helps the university transmit information faster, but also better understands and serves learners’ needs".

Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh stated: “The launch of Tammi OA marks a starting point for both sides to further expand cooperation, aiming to build a modern, smart, and more connected digital university environment. Viettel wishes to accompany the university in digitizing management activities, improving quality of service for learners, developing digital services and utilities, and gradually shaping a digital education ecosystem aligned with DUE’s development orientation”.

The Tammi OA model at the University of Economics - University of Danang is a seamless digital platform: one touch - a thousand utilities. With Tammi OA, the university has another method to quickly connect with students; students gain a convenient channel to update information and access digital utilities within the same ecosystem.

This also marks the beginning of collaboration between the University of Economics - University of Danang and Viettel in promoting digital technology application, contributing to building a modern, dynamic university environment in line with digital transformation trends. Tammi OA offers many practical experiences and privileges such as the Tammi AI digital assistant, family and relative connection, digital utilities, Tammi Cloud, and exclusive offers for Viettel subscribers. Importantly, Tammi is an OTT platform available on all mobile networks, so students can download and experience the application.

 After the launch, DUE and Viettel leaders discussed cooperation directions in four key areas: developing a smart university and digital campus model with DUE as a pilot; co-developing digital learning materials, AI Tutor, and smart learning platforms; collaborating in digital human resource training through micro-credentials, internships, expert-led courses, and innovation activities; and establishing an Innovation Lab/Joint Lab for AI application research in economics, management, and public administration, aiming for research products and digital transformation reports for Danang and the Central - Central Highlands region.
