DUE welcomes international exchange students, marking the beginning of integration in Da Nang

On August 24, 2026, the University of Economics (DUE) held a Welcome and Orientation Program for international exchange students for the first semester of the 2026 - 2027 academic year, including students from nine partner universities in Taiwan, France, Germany and Finland.

Taking place in the first week of the new academic year, the program is designed to help exchange students quickly adapt to the academic environment, support systems and daily life in Da Nang. It also provided an opportunity for DUE to introduce the liaison units that will accompany the students throughout their studies at the university.

Representatives from DUE’s departments briefed international exchange students on academic regulations and policies during their studies at the university.

A highlight of the program was the DUE Buddies initiative and team-building games for students. DUE Buddies are volunteers from various faculties, who support international students in getting to know the campus, classrooms and life in Da Nang.

Through interactive activities, the program shifted from academic orientation to an open networking space, enabling international students and DUE students to learn more about each other, build friendships and enhance their cultural exchange experience.

The program also included an open Q&A session, giving international students the chance to directly discuss academics, exams, residency procedures, campus life and other issues related to their time at DUE.

With the message “DUE is your university too”, the program extended a welcoming message to international exchange students: during their months in Da Nang, DUE is not only a place of learning but also a space for cultural experiences, building international connections and becoming part of the university community.
