Institute for FinTech Research and Training, Innovation and Sustainable Development Consolidates Team, Laying the Foundation for Research Growth

On August 20, 2026, the University of Economics - University of Danang held a ceremony to present the decision appointing the Scientific Directors of the Institute for FinTech Research and Training, Innovation and Sustainable Development, marking a key step in consolidating the institute’s core research team.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Le Van Huy, Rector of the University of Economics; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector, Director of the Institute for FinTech Research and Training, Innovation and Sustainable Development; and representatives of affiliated units of the university.
Accordingly, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mieszko Mazur was appointed Scientific Director in charge of FinTech; Dr. Bui Kim Luan was appointed Scientific Director in charge of Innovation and Sustainable Development.

In their new roles, the Scientific Directors will participate in research orientation, build strong research groups, expand cooperation with international scholars and partners, as well as support young research teams and enhance the quality of the university’s research projects.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh - Vice Rector of the university - congratulated the newly appointed members of the Institute’s core leadership team.
In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mieszko Mazur expressed gratitude for the trust of the university and institute leadership, and affirmed his desire to contribute to research activities and the institute’s development in the coming time.
