Quality EducationPartnerships for the Goals

This past July, the University of Economics successfully organized the International Summer Semester Student Exchange Program for the 2025 - 2026 academic year, welcoming students from Busan University of Foreign Studies (South Korea) to study, participate in cultural exchanges, and experience the educational environment at DUE. The program not only provided access to knowledge in a modern learning environment but also helped strengthen international cooperation, connect students of various nationalities, and promote the spirit of integration.

Participating in the “Vietnamese Culture and Business” workshop

For nearly a month, students from South Korea joined scheduled coursework and actively engaged with DUE students through various extracurricular activities, contributing to an open, dynamic, and highly connected learning environment.

In addition to academic pursuits, the program offered a rich array of experiences, enabling participants to gain deeper insights into Vietnamese culture, people, and business context. Alongside Vietnamese language workshops and the special topic “Vietnamese Culture and Business,” students had the opportunity to tour Da Nang city, explore the Bay Mau nipa palm forest and Hoi An ancient town, try woodworking at a traditional carpentry workshop, visit Tra Que vegetable village combined with Vietnamese cooking classes, and participate in company visits to understand production, management, and corporate culture. These real-life experiences provided international students with multi-dimensional perspectives on Vietnamese life, culture, and development, while also creating lasting memories during their time at DUE.

More than just a learning opportunity, the program became a bridge for students from Busan University of Foreign Studies and the University of Economics to build relationships, share academic experiences, enhance communication skills, and adapt to multicultural environments. Classroom sessions, experiential activities, and social encounters all contributed to a meaningful summer, leaving beautiful impressions on each participating student.
