Cooperation with Odoo HK Limited Connects Training with Enterprise Technology

On July 21, 2026, the University of Economics hosted a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Odoo HK Limited, marking a new development in the partnership between the two sides. The agreement aims to promote the application of enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology in training, research, and digital capacity development for faculty and students at the university.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of Odoo HK Limited was Mr. Tony To Ton Thanh, Odoo Education Program Manager in Vietnam. Representing the University of Economics were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector; Dr. Bui Trung Hiep, Acting Head of Student Affairs, Corporate Relations and Communications; Dr. Nguyen Son Tung, Deputy Head of the Academic Affairs Department; leaders from the Faculty of E-Commerce and the Faculty of Marketing, along with other faculty and staff members.

During the event, representatives from both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and technology enterprises amid digital transformation and international integration. The partnership is expected to not only innovate teaching methods and bridge theory with practice but also to develop a digital-capable workforce that meets the increasing demands of the labor market.

Mr. Tony To Ton Thanh stated that Odoo HK Limited is fully committed to supporting the university's digital transformation efforts in teaching and training activities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh expressed his desire to expand cooperation with Odoo HK Limited across various fields.

According to the MoU, the University of Economics and Odoo HK Limited will jointly deploy the free Odoo ERP system for training purposes; provide teaching and learning materials; jointly organize training programs, workshops, and seminars for faculty and students; and strengthen the integration of enterprise management technology into academic programs and related activities.
