University of Economics (DUE) Graduation Week 2026: Nearly 2,500 New Graduates Celebrated

From June 24 to June 28, 2026, the University of Economics - University of Danang (DUE) is holding its Graduation Week, honoring nearly 2,500 new bachelor’s degree recipients. This milestone marks the culmination of students’ efforts, perseverance, and growth before they embark on their new professional journeys.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector of DUE, extended congratulations to the new graduates, expressing confidence and high hopes for this new generation. “After four years together, I hope each of you will carry the fond memories of your time here. You are now alumni of the university. I encourage you to actively participate in alumni activities, maintain regular contact, share experiences, and support one another to achieve success in work and in life. The university is delighted and honored to welcome you back in the future and looks forward to your meaningful contributions to our continued development. Your achievements are not only personal triumphs but also a source of pride and collective success for the University of Economics".

During the ceremonies, the university awarded degrees to the new graduates and commended individuals with outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. Among them, 31 students graduating as valedictorians in their respective majors received Certificates of Merit from the Rector; 12 exemplary outstanding students were honored; and 1,273 students received Certificates of Merit for high achievement (including 319 students graduating with Distinction, 951 with Merit, and 4 Lao international students graduating with Good performance).

On behalf of the new graduates, Ho Vu Thao Ngan (Class 48K13.1, Faculty of Law) expressed gratitude to teachers, family, and friends who supported her throughout her years at DUE. She also affirmed her commitment to continued learning, working, and contributing, making the most of the knowledge, skills, and values gained during her academic journey.

Graduation Week 2026 will continue until June 28. The event is not only an occasion to honor the academic achievements of students but also reaffirms the university’s quality of education and mission to supply high-quality human resources.
