The University of Danang - University of Economics Joins Founding Partnership and Public Policy and Governance Education Network (GPPA)

On April 24, 2026, the launch ceremony of the Public Policy and Governance Education Network, under the theme “Connecting Knowledge - Shaping the Future of National Governance”, was held with the participation of universities, research institutes, and organizations operating in the fields of public policy, governance, and development. The event marked the establishment of an academic cooperation platform aimed at strengthening connectivity, promoting knowledge sharing, and advancing research and high-quality human resource training to support national governance in a changing context.

Representing The University of Danang - University of Economics at the launch ceremony and cooperation signing was Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy, President of the University. The University’s participation underscored its commitment to expanding academic partnerships, fostering interdisciplinary research, and contributing to training and policy advisory activities in support of socio-economic development.

At the event, The University of Danang - University of Economics officially signed the cooperation agreement to become a co-founder and member of the Public Policy and Governance Education Network (GPPA), alongside nine leading institutions nationwide, including National Academy of Public Administration and Governance, National Economics University, Hue University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Graduate Academy of Social Sciences, Institute of Economics, Academy of Policy and Development, Society and Environment, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Vietnam National University of Agriculture.

During the roundtable discussion themed “National Governance and Management Human Resource Training in the New Era”, Dr. Le Bao, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, joined experts in exchanging perspectives, sharing experiences, and proposing practical solutions to enhance training quality and governance effectiveness.

Joining the network will enable The University of Danang - University of Economics to expand cooperation with prestigious educational institutions, while also creating opportunities for lecturers, researchers, and students to access academic forums, collaborative research projects, and joint training programs in the coming years. Through this initiative, the University continues to affirm its role in training human resources in economics, management, and public policy, thereby contributing to sustainable development and the improvement of national governance quality.
