Expanding International Cooperation Opportunities with Trine University

On March 24, 2026, University of Economics - The University of Danang held a working session with Trine University, opening up many prospects for cooperation in training and student exchange, thereby contributing to improving the quality of human resources in the context of international integration.


At the meeting, Mr. Jenson Jiang, Senior Director of Admissions and International Partnerships at Trine University, introduced an overview of the university, which is particularly well known for its strengths in engineering and business education. The university currently offers a wide range of programs in majors such as Business, Finance, and Marketing, along with specialized programs in management. In addition, Trine University provides a dynamic international learning environment with a multinational student community, as well as an ecosystem supporting academics and innovation, including the Innovation Center, academic competitions, and funding programs.

Trine University expressed its desire to establish and develop cooperative relations with the University of Economics - The University of Danang, particularly in student exchange and study tour programs. The two sides may coordinate to implement short-term programs (under 30 days), with flexible content tailored to the practical needs of learners.

The two sides also discussed the possibility of implementing joint training programs such as the 3+1 model and transfer pathways. The University of Economics - The University of Danang may conduct curriculum mapping to ensure compatibility, thereby building suitable study pathways for students participating in international programs. It is expected that groups of approximately 30 students could participate each year.

In addition, Trine University shared its experience in implementing international cooperation models, including a program in Taiwan that allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree and continue to a master’s degree within a shortened period, thereby optimizing their academic pathway.
