DUE Students Develop a Smart Tourism Platform Connecting Local Experiences in Da Nang

The project “ANVAGO - A Digital Platform for Travel Planning and Navigation in Da Nang” has successfully advanced to the Final Round of the 8th “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition.

The project team is led by student Huỳnh Quỳnh Anh (Class 50K01.3, Faculty of International Business, University of Economics), with the participation of Nguyễn Quang Khiêm (FPT University Ho Chi Minh City). The project has been guided and supported by Dr. Bùi Huỳnh Nguyên (University of Economics - The University of Danang), who is responsible for economic orientation and business planning, and Dr. Nguyễn Quang Như Quỳnh (University of Science and Technology - The University of Danang), who oversees the technical and product development aspects.


Anvago is a smart tourism platform that helps travelers plan itineraries, explore local experiences, and navigate in real time in Da Nang. The platform connects visitors with high-quality local services such as restaurants and small businesses through digital maps and suggested itineraries. It enables local businesses to reach tourists without relying on paid advertising. In addition, the system incorporates authentic user reviews, creating a transparent and reliable source of information. The project contributes to promoting sustainable tourism and fostering local value-based economic development.

According to the team representative, the core idea of Anvago is to connect tourists with local experiences through digital maps, curated itineraries, and a real-user review system, thereby encouraging sustainable tourism. The project aims to validate its model at the local level before expanding to similar markets in the region.

In the context of a tourism industry increasingly oriented toward digital transformation and sustainability, initiatives like Anvago highlight the pioneering role of students in applying technology to solve real-world problems. This also demonstrates the effectiveness of the innovation-driven educational model at the University of Economics – The University of Danang, where student ideas are nurtured, developed, and gradually brought to life, creating meaningful value for the community.
