DUE Signs Cooperation Agreement with Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association, Expanding Training - Startup Ecosystem

University of Economics - The University of Danang (DUE) and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 17, 2026, marking a new milestone in strengthening the linkage between academic training and practical engagement, and advancing a comprehensive training - startup ecosystem connecting the University and the business community.

Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector of the University, emphasized that the event carries significant importance - not only building upon prior collaborative activities between the two sides, but also representing a new phase of development by formalizing the partnership and jointly fostering a dynamic environment for learning, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Mr. Mai Minh Vuong, Chairman of the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association, affirmed that the close collaboration between academia and industry will contribute to improving the quality of human resources while creating a sustainable ecosystem linking education, research, and business operations. The Association will actively engage in training activities, share practical insights, and support students in career orientation and the development of professional skills aligned with enterprise environments.

According to the signed MoU, both parties will strengthen cooperation through three key pillars:

First, building upon their traditional partnership, the two sides will collaborate in training and knowledge exchange to enhance human resource quality. Specific initiatives include joint development of academic programs, facilitating field visits, recruiting interns, and organizing career orientation and recruitment activities. Through this agreement, both sides aim not only to sustain but also to expand these initiatives, thereby providing students with greater access to real-world experience and business engagement.

Second, in line with the University’s strategic direction to promote entrepreneurship and innovation, both parties will enhance connections between the University, experts, and enterprises to develop a practice-oriented startup ecosystem. Collaborative activities may include mentoring and coaching programs between entrepreneurs and students; pitching sessions where students present startup ideas to business panels; thematic workshops on innovation; and incubation programs for viable ideas. This ecosystem will create favorable conditions for students to access mentorship and receive support in launching startups while still at university. At the same time, businesses will have opportunities to tap into innovative ideas, act as investors or strategic partners, thereby nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs while generating practical value for their own operations.

Third, the two sides will jointly implement the “10,000 CEOs Training Program” for the 2025 - 2030 period. This strategic initiative aims to cultivate a new generation of Vietnamese business leaders equipped with vision, integrity, and capability to drive sustainable enterprise development. The program will feature advanced courses in strategic management, financial management, human resource management, technology management, and innovation; direct mentoring and coaching from experienced entrepreneurs; workshops, seminars, and real-world case studies; as well as internships, company visits, and dialogues with senior executives.

Within the framework of the program, the University also signed cooperation agreements with six member enterprises of the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association, including: Nhat Phong Van Transport JSC; SEATECH JSC; Phu Hoang Transport and Services JSC (Tien Sa Taxi); DANACAP Real Estate Investment and Consultancy JSC; ECOVIS AFA Vietnam Auditing, Valuation and Consulting Co., Ltd.; and Rainscales Vietnam Co., Ltd.
