The University of Economics, ACCA and KPMG Continue Cooperation in Training High-Quality Accounting, Auditing and Finance Professionals

On March 5, 2026, University of Economics - The University of Danang and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) officially signed an extension of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue integrating ACCA courses into the University’s training programs.

During nearly 25 years of ACCA’s presence in Vietnam, the University of Economics – The University of Danang has consistently partnered with ACCA in various collaborative activities for universities, lecturers, and students nationwide. Notably, the University officially launched the ACCA-integrated Auditing program in 2024. This collaboration has already delivered promising outcomes, highlighted by the outstanding pass rate of students in the December 2025 examination session.

On the same occasion, ACCA, the University of Economics – The University of Danang, and KPMG Limited (KPMG) also signed an extension of their trilateral cooperation agreement, continuing the successful partnership established in 2021. The renewed agreement further strengthens the sustainable collaboration between the University, the international professional association, and the Big4 firm in building a comprehensive training ecosystem.

Through this collaborative program, students not only gain access to internationally recognized knowledge frameworks but also develop practical skills, professional mindset, and opportunities to experience a professional working environment. The partnership also reflects the shared commitment of all parties to nurturing a new generation of Accounting - Auditing - Finance professionals with strong expertise, integrity, and a global mindset to meet the demands of integration and development.

At the event, the Organizing Committee congratulated 15 students who achieved outstanding results in the ACCA FA examination in the 2025 - 2026 academic year, recognizing their academic efforts and remarkable achievements within the integrated training program.

The program concluded with a discussion session on future cooperation directions. Representatives from all parties exchanged views on priority areas and proposed initiatives as well as specific implementation solutions for the short and medium term. The activity is expected to further deepen collaborative programs and lay the foundation for practical and sustainable outcomes in skills development and human resource training.
