The Journal of Economic Science has officially been recognized by the National Council for Professorships to be eligible for the maximum scientific work score of 1.0 point in the evaluation for academic titles of Professor and Associate Professor, starting from 2025, according to Decision No. 26/QD-HĐGSNN dated July 11, 2025. This is a significant milestone in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University of Economics - University of Danang (1975-2025).

This recognition not only honors the persistent efforts of the Editorial Board, the community of scientists and reviewers, and the strong support from the University’s leadership, but also serves as a testament to the steady academic development of a journal born from the aspiration for innovation and international integration of the University.

Established in 2012, the Journal of Economic Science is the academic forum of the University of Economics - University of Danang, dedicated to publishing theoretical and practical research in the fields of economics, business, and management. Over more than a decade of development, the journal has continuously enhanced its academic quality, expanded its network of collaborators both domestically and internationally, and strongly promoted the internationalization of its publishing activities.

The Journal expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all researchers who have trusted and contributed high-quality scientific works, enriching the journal’s content and enhancing its academic prestige. Special thanks are also extended to the reviewers - the “academic gatekeepers” - for their silent yet responsible contributions in ensuring the scientific rigor, objectivity, and quality of every published paper. The Journal is also deeply grateful to generations of leaders of the University of Economics - University of Danang for their consistent support, strategic direction, and favorable conditions that have allowed the journal to develop sustainably and meet the increasingly demanding standards of modern academia and global integration.

The increase in scientific work point by the National Council for Professorships marks a crucial affirmation of the journal’s academic standing and lays the foundation for its continued advancement toward becoming a prestigious academic journal in the region and internationally in the next phase.
