Launch Ceremony of the 2025 “Green Summer” Student Volunteer Campaign at the University of Economics

On the morning of June 24, 2025, the University of Economics – The University of Danang (DUE) officially launched the 2025 “Green Summer” Student Volunteer Campaign, igniting a vibrant and enthusiastic summer for the university’s youth. The campaign continues the proud tradition of volunteerism and social responsibility within the DUE community.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector, emphasized the importance of the summer volunteer campaign as a valuable opportunity for students to experience, contribute, and grow: “Cherish this chance to discover the true meaning of joy and fulfillment through giving, loving, and connecting with others. To do so, you must strictly follow regulations, uphold your responsibilities, and embrace the spirit of dedication, ready to overcome challenges and fulfill your assigned missions with excellence.”

At the event, Dr. Tran Xuan Quynh, Secretary of the Youth Union, presented the 2025 Green Summer Campaign plan under the theme: “DUE Youth: Proactive, Creative, and Committed to Community Service.” The campaign promises to offer DUE students a memorable experience, aligning with the spirit of the 50th Anniversary of the University’s founding.
The campaign’s volunteer teams were also formally introduced, each representing a unique identity and strength of DUE students:
- The Pioneer Team consists of three sub-units and serves as the core task force for major community projects such as supporting the national entrance exam, restoring infrastructure, painting murals, and renovating local martyr cemeteries.
- The Professional Team brings together students skilled in communication, design, and creativity, and is responsible for tasks such as: designing OCOP (One Commune One Product) materials, conducting anti-drug media campaigns, and organizing workshops on AI applications in daily life.

Representatives from each volunteer team received their campaign hats and ID badges from university leaders - symbols of commitment and readiness to embark on their meaningful missions.
