Enhancing Training Quality and Recruitment through a Cooperation Agreement with Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang

On the morning of March 20, a signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement between the University of Economics – The University of Danang and Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang took place at Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang. This agreement marks a significant step forward in the partnership between the two parties, aiming to improve training quality and develop human resources in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the University of Economics, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh – Vice Rector of the University, along with leaders from the Student Affairs Office, the Office of Science & International Cooperation, and representatives of the leadership and faculty of the Faculty of Tourism. On behalf of Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang, Ms. Vu Thi Van – Deputy General Manager, along with department heads, were present.

Ms. Vu Thi Van expressed her hope that the cooperation agreement would contribute to training high-quality human resources for Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang.

As part of the program, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding that includes key areas of cooperation, such as: Accepting interns based on the needs and requirements of the business; Considering support for internship allowances and prioritizing the recruitment of graduates in relevant fields; Collaborating to organize training programs, career orientation seminars, and student support activities; Facilitating opportunities for faculty members to visit and conduct practical research at the resort.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh emphasized: "We are delighted to collaborate with Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang, one of the leading enterprises in the hospitality and resort industry. This cooperation agreement will open up numerous internship and hands-on experience opportunities for students, allowing them to develop and enhance their professional skills. At the same time, it provides an opportunity for our faculty members to gain insights into new industry trends, contributing to a more practical and up-to-date curriculum. We believe this partnership will bring practical benefits to both sides and the community".

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh stated that the University will actively implement the contents of the cooperation agreement.

In addition to the signing ceremony, representatives of Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang introduced an overview of the resort and guided the University of Economics delegation on a tour of the premises. This visit allowed them to gain insights into the working environment, facilities, and scale of Fusion Resort & Villa Da Nang.

This cooperation agreement reaffirms the commitment of both parties to improving training quality, providing students with access to a professional working environment, and contributing to the development of the tourism industry in Da Nang.
