Seminar on “Guidelines for Preparing Research Proposal Applications Funded by the Nafosted Foundation”

On the afternoon of March 18, the University of Economics - the University of Danang (DUE) organized the seminar titled “Guidelines for Preparing Research Proposal Applications Funded by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (Nafosted).” The seminar aimed to support DUE’s goal of becoming a research-oriented university, meeting the standards for higher education institutions under Circular 01/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training. More importantly, it sought to comprehensively support faculty members in successfully registering for research projects funded by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development.
The seminar was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of DUE, along with leaders of various faculties, a large number of faculty members, researchers, and PhD candidates. This event provided an opportunity for DUE lecturers to gain insights into the application process, evaluation criteria, and important considerations when applying for research funding.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh emphasized the crucial role of the Nafosted Foundation in promoting scientific research. He highlighted that accessing and utilizing Nafosted’s funding sources not only allows researchers to develop their ideas but also enhances the quality of scientific publications, contributing to the advancement of science and technology.

During the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Tung Lam, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Economic Science at DUE, presented a report on “Guidelines for Preparing Research Proposal Applications Funded by Nafosted.” His presentation provided detailed information on funding programs, evaluation criteria, and the application review process. He also shared practical experiences to help faculty members and researchers gain a clearer understanding of how to develop a high-quality research proposal.

The seminar also included a Q&A session where faculty members directly interacted with the speaker. Topics of discussion included research proposal writing techniques, initial application requirements, feasibility assessment criteria, and strategies for securing funding.
