Student Exchange Between Kalasin University and the University of Economics: A Chance for Connection and Cultural Exchange

To create opportunities for students to interact, learn, and broaden their horizons, the University of Economics - University of Danang (DUE) hosted a meeting and exchange program with students from Kalasin University (Thailand) on the afternoon of February 24.

The event served as a bridge connecting two cultures, two academic environments, and, most importantly, passionate young students from different countries. It was a valuable opportunity for students from both universities to learn about the land, people, and cultures of Vietnam and Thailand, fostering a greater appreciation for the unique values of each nation.

At the beginning of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of the University of Economics – UD, delivered a welcome speech to the Kalasin University delegation. He emphasized the importance of international exchanges in helping students expand their knowledge, improve communication skills, and adapt to multicultural environments.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentations introducing the cultures and academic environments of both countries. Kalasin University students gave vibrant insights into Thailand and their university. In response, DUE students introduced Vietnam, the city of Da Nang, and their university, helping Thai students gain a deeper understanding of the beauty and potential of Central Vietnam.

The program also featured interactive activities, with DUE students organizing bonding games to strengthen connections and foster cultural exchange between the two universities.

The exchange event concluded with many memorable moments, opening opportunities for long-term cooperation and development between the students of both universities. This event not only expanded students' global cultural awareness but also contributed to building lasting friendships between Vietnamese and Thai students.
