Closing Ceremony of the 2023-2024 Summer Student Exchange Program: Memorable and Colorful Cultural Experiences at DUE

Recently, the University of Economics - University of Da Nang (DUE) organized the closing ceremony for the 2023-2024 Summer Student Exchange Program.
The 2023-2024 academic year marks the second time DUE has hosted the summer exchange program for students. This year's program featured the participation of 17 students from four universities: National Economics University, University of Commerce, Banking Academy, and Academy of Finance, along with 26 students from DUE. Since its commencement on July 3, 2024, the students have successfully completed the summer exchange program at DUE.
In his closing remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of DUE, noted: "The 2023-2024 Summer Student Exchange Program concluded with a range of emotions. The exchange students had the opportunity to engage in positive learning experiences, academic exchanges, and cultural experiences filled with memorable and vibrant colors during this summer."

Participating in the innovative educational program in the beautiful city of Da Nang has left a lasting impression on the exchange students. During nearly a month of study at DUE, students from various universities participated in dynamic lectures and engaging extracurricular activities. The program not only provided opportunities for students to exchange ideas, learn, and experience new things, but also served as a means to strengthen solidarity, cooperation, and development among the universities. Notably, as part of the "Basic Marketing" course, the competition "Are You The Best KOC" was held to offer students a platform to familiarize themselves with video content creation skills and practice video editing software for marketing communications. In this competition, students formed teams, each producing a maximum 3-minute video to promote the city of Da Nang from the perspective of a Key Opinion Consumer (KOC). Despite having less than a month for visits and study, the submitted videos were of high quality and excellence.

At the program, the exchange students received certificates of participation in the summer exchange program at DUE. Additionally, the university presented them with commemorative photos to cherish the memories of the program.

On October 29, 2022, leaders from 10 top economic universities in Vietnam convened and signed a Cooperation Agreement to enhance and promote collaboration among the universities in education, scientific research, and student and faculty exchanges. Based on this agreement, DUE has actively implemented student exchange programs with the participating universities. Since the end of 2022, DUE has had the honor of welcoming nearly 50 exchange students for visits and study, while also sending over 20 students to partner universities across the country.
