University of Economics Partners with Canadian Universities

On the morning of July 23, the University of Economics - University of Danang welcomed a delegation from the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City to promote cooperation opportunities in scientific research and academic exchange.

Visiting and working with the University was Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu, Trade Attache in charge of Canadian educational development in Vietnam. Welcoming the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Chairwoman of the University Council, along with representatives from the Office of Science and International Cooperation, and the Training Department.

During the meeting, representatives from the Office of Science and International Cooperation provided an overview of the University of Economics, including its history, training facilities, strategies, goals, mission, and student activities.

Besides, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh emphasized that, with the goal of internationalizing education, the University of Economics - University of Danang focuses on diplomatic activities and expanding partnerships worldwide. The visit from the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City today is a special occasion for the University to promote cooperation opportunities in scientific research and academic exchange with Canadian universities.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu highly appreciates the achievements of DUE in recent years, particularly in developing an innovation ecosystem and academic research cooperation with international partners.

The University leadership presented gifts in appreciation of the cooperation from the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City.

Both sides discussed direct connections with Canadian universities and the University of Economics - University of Danang through programs such as student exchange, scientific research, scholarship programs, and faculty and student exchanges.
