The Party Committee of the University of Economics is a party under the Party Committee of the University of Danang. At present, the Party Committee of the University of Economics has 18 subordinate branches (12 branches in faculties, 5 branches of functional departments, 1 student cell with 68 members) with a total of 266 members, of which there are 226 official members and 40 reserve members.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Economics presented the Report on the construction of the Party in 2020. The report stated clearly: In 2020, the School Party Committee drastically directed, vigorous prevented the Covid19 epidemic; implementing anti-epidemic targets, ensuring training, testing, quality accreditation, scientific research, and international cooperation, building staff and investing in facilities according to the plan have been achieved the following results:

Regarding training: The Party Committee has focused on directing to organize and deploy online training based on the Elearning version 2 platform and other applications in the context of the Covid epidemic. Right from the beginning of 2020, Elearning version 2 has officially completed and all teaching staff was trained. Therefore, the school is completely active when the epidemic breaks out and has conducted online teaching, ensuring the learning plan on schedule.

 Regarding the testing, evaluating and assuring education quality: The testing has focused on completing the process of organizing the assessment of learning results, building up a bank of exam papers according to BLOOM standards and applying information technology in the organization of examination and evaluation. Up to now, many faculties have accepted test banks and put them into use in 2020. In the context of epidemics, the testing has also witnessed flexible changes, ensuring consensus between teachers and students; at the same time ensuring the outcome standards and goals of each module. The Party Committee has directed the organization of surveys and completion of reports on the student's feedback on teaching activities and training quality; of alumni about employment, income and employers on the quality of graduates.

Regarding scientific research and international cooperation: The Party Committee has directed scientific research and international cooperation activities, issued many policies to encourage and create favorable conditions for this field to develop. Policies supporting international publication are adjusted to motivate and reward individuals and research groups in accordance with the direction of the economic - business - law sector. Due to the influence of Covid outbreaks, many seminars are flexibly converted to the online format. By 2020, 03 national seminars have been organized, 43 research projects have been implemented, including 06 State-level topics, 04 ministerial-level topics, 22 UD-level subjects; 11 School-level topics; published 78 international articles (40 articles in the ISI list) and 153 articles, including 57 articles in foreign yearbooks, 37 articles in domestic yearbooks and 59 articles in domestic magazines. There are 06 textbooks, reference books, monograph books directly compiled and published by the University's faculty, contributing to meeting the needs of scientific research, teaching of lecturers and students' learning.

The exchange of lecturers and students of the University to foreign partners is promoted in the framework of projects: ERASMUS + of the European Union, in cooperation with Universities: Herriot University - WATT (UK) , Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK), Westphalian University (Germany), VIBE project cooperated with CORK Institute of Technology (AI len), Liege University (Belgium) Regional Cooperative Logistics project (Belgium) ...

Party-building in 2020 is a task of special attention from the Party Committee from the beginning of the year. The Party Committee has directed the organization of the congress of branches throughout the University, progressing to the eighth congress of the Party Committee, term 2020-2025. Due to the impact of the epidemic, the implementation of the Congress was slower than expected; but the branches had a successful congress, leading personnel of departments, divisions and departments were strengthen. The University Party Congress held on June 5 and 6, 2020, had a great success with the new Party Committee's Executive Committee consisting of 15 comrades. The Congress approved the Resolution of the School Party Committee for the term 2020-2025; offered an action plan; approved the party committee's working regulations for the new term and other documents. The Party Committee of the University of Economics, UD will promote political and ideological education.  Preparing for the 2020-2021 school year, the Party Committee has directed to open new branches and majors in the context of rapid digital transformation; through the policy of opening 3 new majors: digital marketing, digital business, international economics and the accounting program of the Bachelor of Accounting integrated with the ACCA program. These are considered strategic orientations on the basis of current resources of the University, anticipating the trend of digital transformation in the Central and the country, as well as the integration trend.

At the same time, implementing the Resolution on enhancing quality assurance activities, gradually building a quality culture, the Party Committee decides whether to direct to write self-assessment reports, prepare documents, and demonstrate quality accreditation according to AUN standards in 2021 with 3 programs: Finance, Banking and Tourism.

At the Conference, the Party Committee of the University of Economics commended and rewarded the Party members and cell members with excellent and typical achievements, contributing to the overall achievements of the Party Committee. Such achievement is thanks to the close leadership and leadership of the school's Party Committee and the great contributions of individual members of the Party Committee.
