  • CELEBRATING THE 81ST ANNIVERSARY OF THE VIETNAM PEOPLE’S ARMY DAY (22/12/1944 – 22/12/2025)

“The comrade, weather-beaten, takes no more steps,
Leans upon his rifle and helmet, leaving the world behind.”

In commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (22/12/1944 – 22/12/2025) and the 36th National Defence Day (22/12/1989 – 22/12/2025), the Tourism Faculty Youth Union organised a tribute and memorial ceremony at Hoa Hai Ward Martyrs’ Cemetery to express deep respect for the dedication and sacrifices of soldiers who bravely defended the Nation.

This sacred historical milestone reminds the younger generation of the 81-year journey of building, fighting, and growing of the Vietnam People’s Army – a heroic, indomitable force, loyal to the Party and devoted to the people. Through countless hardships and sacrifices, generations of officers and soldiers have written glorious chapters in history, contributing to maintaining peace, safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and honouring the noble image and virtues of the “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers.”

Amid this solemn and proud atmosphere, the Tourism Faculty and generations of students express their deepest gratitude to the heroic martyrs and all generations of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Army. This occasion is not only a time for remembrance and tribute but also a reminder to every Youth Union member of their responsibility to preserve and promote patriotic traditions, continually study and train, and contribute to the country’s ongoing development and prosperity.
