FACULTY OF TOURISM LECTURER HONORED BY DA NANG CITY CHAIRMAN FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

The Faculty of Tourism – University of Economics, The University of Da Nang is pleased to announce and congratulate Dr. Tran Nien Tuan, lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism, on being honored with the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee at the Awards Ceremony for Organizations and Individuals with Outstanding Achievements in Science, Technology, and Innovation, held in May 2025.

Dr. Tran Nien Tuan is one of 35 distinguished researchers recognized at this city-level ceremony, in acknowledgment of his significant contributions to scientific research through works published in prestigious international scientific journals.

Dr. Tran Nien Tuan currently serves as Deputy Head of the Organization and Administration Department and as a lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism, University of Economics – The University of Da Nang. He earned his Ph.D. in Tourism from Technological University Dublin, Ireland (2022), and holds deep academic expertise in Tourism Business Management.

His key research areas include Volunteer Tourism, Sustainability, and Food Waste Management in the hospitality industry.

The Certificate of Merit awarded by the Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee is not only a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Tran Nien Tuan's personal dedication and scholarly excellence, but also a source of great pride for the entire faculty and student body of the Faculty of Tourism – University of Economics, The University of Da Nang.

This achievement further affirms the Faculty's commitment to high-quality scientific research, international integration, and meaningful contributions to the sustainable development of the tourism industry in Da Nang and across Vietnam.
