Successful conclusion of the 2024 - 2025 student research conference – faculty of tourism

The Student Research Conference of the Faculty of Tourism - University of Economics, UDN for the 2024 - 2025 academic year has successfully concluded, marking a milestone in fostering academic passion and innovation. This year's projects featured diverse topics, from film tourism and festival experiences to AI applications in career orientation, showcasing our students' proactive approach to global tourism trends.

 

Congratulations to the Winning Research Projects:

FIRST PRIZE: "Enhancing destination brand loyalty through film-based storytelling: A case study of film tourists in Vietnam".

Student: Tran Le Phong.

Supervisor: Dr. Vo Thi Quynh Nga.

 

SECOND PRIZE: "Shaping future careers: The impact of experiential learning and artificial intelligence on the career intentions of Tourism and Hospitality students".

Student team: Bui Thi Hai Yen, Tran Van Cong Son, Nguyen Phan Cam Tien, Nguyen Thi Thao Quyen.

Supervisor: Dr. Vo Thi Quynh Nga.

 

THIRD PRIZE: "Festival Experience and Attendee Behavior: The Role of FOMO in Music Festivals".

Student team: Nguyen Minh Ha, Ha Anh Khoi, Do Minh Thu, Thai Thi Uyen Trang.

Supervisors: MSc. Bui Thi Khanh Ha and MSc. Pham Cong Hau.

 

CONSOLATION PRIZES:

Factors affecting intentions to attend live music events (Team leader: Nguyen Thy Ha; Supervisor: Dr. Nguyen Thi Thong Nhat).

The role of FOMO and influencers in Gen Z's destination choices (Team leader: Nguyen Le Uyen Nhi; Supervisor: MSc. Mai Thi Hieu Nhi).
