09/09/2025

Promoting student scientific research has long been a strategic priority for the Faculty of Tourism. Recently, a group of Event Management students from class 47K26 successfully published and presented their research paper at the 2024 International Conference for Young Researchers in Economics and Business (ICYREB).

The research team, comprising Mai Thi Phuong Uyen, Nguyen Ngoc Uyen Nhi, Nguyen Thi Uyen Nhi, and Bui Thi Hai Duong, was supervised by Dr. Tran Thi Kim Phuong. Their study, titled "Celebrity endorsement process for events: A comparative analysis of domestic and international celebrities in Vietnam," was highly regarded for its academic rigor and practical relevance.

After a dedicated research journey, let's listen to the sharing from Mai Thi Phuong Uyen: "I feel truly honored and proud to participate in the ICYREB 2024 International Scientific Conference. This is a valuable opportunity for myself and my team to discover new things, learn more knowledge, and connect with friends from all over the world. Through this, I also remind myself to constantly strive, improve my knowledge and skills to develop further in the future."

Participating in a prestigious forum like ICYREB allows students to demonstrate their research capabilities and contributes to the advancement of event management practices in Vietnam. Representing the group, student Mai Thi Phuong Uyen shared that the conference provided an invaluable platform for academic exchange and professional development.

The Faculty of Tourism congratulates the team on this significant achievement. We encourage all students to actively engage in scientific research as a means to develop critical thinking skills and enhance their professional competitive advantage in the global tourism and hospitality industry.
