Introduction to the Tourism and Travel Management Programme
The Tourism Management program is designed to equip students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical competencies required for professional careers within the tourism sector. Graduates are prepared to pursue employment in a range of tourism-related organisations, including Domestic and International Travel Companies, accommodation enterprises, event companies, and other roles requiring comparable professional expertise.
The program offers two specialised pathways: Tourism Management and Event Management, enabling students to tailor their academic focus in accordance with individual career aspirations. The curriculum is structured to provide flexibility in learning progression, allowing students to design a personalised study plan and complete the program within a timeframe of approximately 3.5 to 6 years.

Programme Objectives
The objectives of the undergraduate programme reflect the University’s expectations regarding graduates’ competencies and career prospects, as well as its educational orientation for the programme. Specifically, the Bachelor’s programme in Tourism and Travel Management aims to enable students to:
- Develop a solid and comprehensive foundation of knowledge in economics, law, culture, tourism, and tourism business management.
- Acquire essential core skills, work-readiness skills, and professional competencies relevant to the tourism business sector.

- Become dynamic, responsive, and effective managers within tourism-related organisations, including hotels, tourism-oriented restaurants, event management companies, travel agencies, and other related professional positions.
- Develop into responsible and socially engaged citizens with a strong sense of personal and community responsibility.
