Vietnam–Malaysia Cultural Exchange with Students from Universiti Teknologi MARA

Recently, at the University of Economics – The University of Danang (UE–UD), a vibrant Vietnam–Malaysia cultural exchange program between UE–UD and Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia) was successfully held. The event marked an important step forward in promoting international exchange and enhancing cultural understanding between the two countries.

Representing the University of Economics were Dr. Bui Huynh Nguyen, Vice Head of the Office of Science and International Cooperation; Dr. Vo Thi Quynh Nga, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism; along with numerous lecturers and students from the Faculty of Tourism. From Universiti Teknologi MARA, the program welcomed enthusiastic and dynamic faculty members and students from Malaysia.

Within the framework of the exchange, both institutions introduced their respective countries and people, highlighting the distinctive cultural characteristics of Vietnam and Malaysia. Participants also shared insights into the academic environments at UE–UD and Universiti Teknologi MARA, opening up opportunities for future cooperation in education and research.

A key highlight of the program was the introduction of traditional costumes from both countries, offering a colorful and meaningful perspective on Vietnamese and Malaysian cultures. Students had the opportunity to explore cultural uniqueness through performances featuring ao dai and other traditional attire. In addition, students from Universiti Teknologi MARA created a lively atmosphere by organizing traditional folk games, helping to strengthen connections and interaction between students of the two universities.
