Launching the First Practical Semester of the Marriott Hotel Management Program at Four Points by Sheraton Danang

Within the framework of the training cooperation between Four Points by Sheraton Danang – Marriott International and the University of Economics, The University of Danang, on the morning of July 1, 2024, students of class 49K23.1 (first-year students) enthusiastically arrived at Four Points by Sheraton Danang to begin their practical courses, including Front Office Operations, Restaurant Operations, and Housekeeping Operations.

The students received a warm and welcoming reception from Mr. Stefano Maccagno, General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Danang, Ms. Bui Thi Bich Lien, Human Resources Director, along with department heads and hotel staff. This thoughtful welcome helped ease students’ initial concerns and unfamiliarity as they experienced hands-on training in a hotel environment for the first time.

During July 1–2, 2024, students participated in an orientation program conducted by Ms. Phan Thi My Dung, Human Resources Manager. The training covered an overview of Marriott International, Four Points by Sheraton Danang, the roles and responsibilities of interns, as well as rules and regulations applicable to interns.
Following the orientation, students were assigned to the Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping departments to undertake a two-month practical training period.
