CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FACULTY OF TOURISM, UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS – THE UNIVERSITY OF DANANG ON ACHIEVING AUN-QA ACCREDITATION

On March 4, 2022, the ASEAN University Network (AUN) officially announced the assessment results of four academic programs of the University of Economics – The University of Danang (UE–UD) for the year 2021. Accordingly, the Hotel Management program under the Faculty of Tourism was recognized as meeting the AUN-QA standards.

The quality assurance process was conducted based on the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance) framework, a comprehensive set of standards established in 2004 by the ASEAN University Network. These rigorous criteria assess higher education quality across multiple dimensions, including learning outcomes, facilities, faculty quality, and the linkage between universities and industry.

After a long period of preparation and evaluation, the Hotel Management program—also the first program of the Faculty of Tourism to receive this recognition—has been officially accredited with AUN-QA standards. This achievement is a testament to the dedication, commitment, and continuous efforts of the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Tourism. Moreover, the AUN-QA standards have played a significant role in strengthening quality assurance processes within the Faculty of Tourism in particular and the University of Economics in general.

Amid the strong recovery of the tourism industry since early 2022, the Faculty of Tourism, with its continuously improved training quality—especially the AUN-QA-accredited Hotel Management program—stands as a reliable and reputable choice for parents and prospective students in the upcoming academic year.
