  • MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) PROGRAM

    The Master of Business Administration is offered in two program orientations: Research-Oriented and Application-Oriented - with a flexible study schedule suitable for working professionals. Throughout the program, students will undertake a Research Project and address practical problems faced by enterprises, under the guidance of highly qualified faculty with strong academic expertise and extensive industry experience. Details of each program are as follows:

     

    1. Research-Oriented MBA Program 

    - The Research-Oriented Master’s Program in Business Administration consists of 60 credits, with the standard duration of 1.5 years for full-time students. 

    - The Research-Oriented MBA aims to train graduates with advanced expertise in management and business, equipped with the ability to conduct research and identify theoretical and practical issues in the field. The program provides students with in-depth domain knowledge, specialized competencies, and appropriate scientific research methodologies that enable them to conduct independent research, develop scientific perspectives and propositions, formulate initial research ideas, and explore or test new knowledge. Students are trained to develop strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as the ability to identify, study, and address managerial and organizational issues within the dynamic context of global business environments. 

    - Graduates of the program can pursue careers as lecturers, researchers at research institutes and universities, or take on managerial and executive roles in enterprises and organizations.

     

    2. Application-Oriented MBA Program 

    - The Application-Oriented Master’s Program in Business Administration comprises 60 credits, with a standard duration of 1.5 years for full-time students and 2 years for part-time students. This program aims to develop MBA graduates with professional and effective managerial skills, capable of applying practical management tools and techniques in real organizational settings. Students are trained to develop strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset, along with the ability to plan, make decisions, and manage organizations in an ethical and socially responsible manner. Throughout the program, learners systematically study general knowledge, foundational management courses, and advanced major/specialization courses that build a strong and comprehensive background in business and management. A distinctive feature of this program is the capstone project, where - under the supervision of experienced faculty - students directly analyze and provide recommendations for issues of high interest to enterprises, such as: applications of Big Data in customer behavior analysis, human resource management challenges, operational management issues, digital marketing practices, as well as digital transformation initiatives within organizations 

    - MBA graduates from the University of Economics – The University of Danang will have diverse career prospects across both private and public sectors. They may take on roles such as: Managers or leaders of business units, public organizations, or non-profit institutions; Entrepreneurs or founders of private enterprises; Management consultants. Graduates may also pursue doctoral studies in Business Administration, either domestically or internationally, after completing the required prerequisite courses where applicable.

    - During their studies, students receive full access to both the traditional and digital library systems, including electronic databases purchased from international publishers. Learners also receive accounts to access macroeconomic, financial, and accounting databases such as FiinPro, academic resources from Elsevier, and anti-plagiarism tools such as Turnitin. Additionally, students are provided with a dedicated workspace in the library equipped with modern research facilities and supported by the University’s research assistants.
