The University of Danang - University of Economics (DUE, Vietnam), Chung Ang University (Rep. of Korea), POSTECH (Rep. of Korea), Vietnam National University Hanoi - International School (VNU-IS, Vietnam), National Economics University (NEU, Vietnam), and Viettel Group (Vietnam) are organizing the 2^nd International Conference on Human-centered Artificial Intelligence (Computing4Human-2021), to be held on October 28-29^th, 2021 in Danang City, Vietnam.

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques and their applications has remarkably changed how we live and how our societies operate. The influence of AI’s advent is not easy to be investigated by only perspectives adopted from the humanities and social sciences. Therefore, Computing4Human-2021 aims at gathering scholars who deal with AI techniques in various domains. We remove boundaries of the area of interest of this conference and extend the area to artificial intelligence methodologies for every user-intimate (human-centered) application and novel issues caused by the advent of AI techniques in every domain.

The main purpose of Computing4Human-2021 is to search for unexplored areas of human-centered AI applications and develop advanced methodologies for these areas by encouraging open discussions between scholars in AI and researchers with domain expertise.

The conference welcomes submissions in English from academics, industry professionals, and researchers with original contributions on topics related to AI issues focusing on the following disciplines:

•         Business Intelligence
•         Computational Humanities and Social Sciences
•         Smart Infrastructure
•         Smart Healthcare
•         Secure and Green IoT Communications
•         Explainable Recommendation and Retrieval

Although the tracks merely present recently popular issues, we do not restrict topics of potential submissions.  We also welcome special track proposals.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Professor Nhu-Ngoc Dao, Professor of Computer Science and Engineer at Sejong University, South Korea. Prof. Dao’s research interests include intelligent systems, network softwarization, mobile cloudization, and the Internet of things). He has published numerous articles in leading peer-reviewed journals, including IEEE Internet Computing, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY

All papers will be fully refereed and undergo a single-blind review process by at least two reviewers. All accepted papers will be published through the CEUR Workshop Proceeding which is indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar.   Extended versions of selected papers will be published in special issues of Concurrency and Computation - Practice and Experience (SCIE).

KEY DATES

We invite the following two kinds of papers:

 ■ Research papers (Maximum 7 pages excluding references)

 ■ Position papers and demos (Maximum 5 pages excluding references)

All manuscripts have to be formatted according to the LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) template, and submitted in PDF files through the EasyChair system. Also, authors have to annotate tracks that they aim at on the keyword list in the EasyChair system.

Further, depending on the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference’s scientific committee can hold 05-06 online parallel sessions. The conference scientific program will be available by Oct 15^th, 2021.

BEST PAPER AWARDS

All papers will be considered for the Best Paper Award.

REGISTRATION

Registration fee includes the abstract book and other conference materials. It also includes coffee breaks, lunch, and a gala dinner during the conference. Accommodation is not included.
