Signing Partnership with VFCA: Expanding Learning, Practice, and Employment Opportunities for Students

On the afternoon of July 1, 2026, the University of Economics held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with the Vietnam Financial Consulting Association (VFCA). The event marked a significant milestone in strengthening collaborative ties between the university and professional organizations, aiming to enhance the quality of education, scientific research, and the development of high-quality human resources in the financial sector.

Attending the signing ceremony on behalf of VFCA were Dr. Le Minh Nghia, Chairman of VFCA; journalist Hoang Anh Minh, Standing Vice Chairman of VFCA and Editor-in-Chief of Financial Investment Magazine; Associate Professor Dr. Nghiem Thi Tha, Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of VFCA; along with other VFCA leaders. Representing the University of Economics were Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector and Chairwoman of the university’s Trade Union, as well as leaders from the Department of Training, Department of Student Affairs, Corporate Relations and Communications, and the Faculty of Finance.

According to the MoU, both parties agreed to implement a wide range of cooperative activities in the fields of education, scientific research, knowledge transfer, organization of academic programs, experiential activities, corporate semester initiatives, social responsibility, and community development programs. The areas of cooperation will be specified through action plans and implementation programs for each period, based on mutual agreement.

For students, the partnership creates numerous opportunities to access real-world professional environments. Students will be able to participate in training courses on investment, personal financial management, vocational skill programs, and professional certification courses. They will also have opportunities for field trips, internships, corporate semesters, seminars, and thematic talks delivered directly by experts within the VFCA ecosystem. In addition, VFCA will co-organize academic competitions, consider scholarship sponsorships, and join the university’s annual Job Fair and recruitment activities, thereby supporting students in developing comprehensive knowledge, skills, and professional competencies.
