The Trade Union of the University of Economics Donates Ao Dai to the Women's Union of Hoa Vang District

On the morning of March 4, as part of the celebration of the 115th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8) in Hoa Vang District, the Trade Union of the University of Economics – The University of Danang donated 100 sets of Ao Dai in support of the “Giving Ao Dai, Spreading Love” program initiated by the district's Women's Union.
At the ceremony, local authorities from the People's Committee and People's Council of Hoa Vang District presented flowers to congratulate the Women's Union and female trade union members of the University of Economics on International Women’s Day.
Expressing her gratitude, Ms. Tran Thi Kim, Chairwoman of the Hoa Vang District Women's Union, extended heartfelt thanks to the Trade Union of the University of Economics and its female members for their support in helping women in difficult circumstances. She highlighted that the program not only embodies humanitarian values but also promotes the tradition of wearing Ao Dai at important events, honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women while fostering pride and responsibility in preserving cultural heritage.

During the event, MSc. Phan Thi Bich Van, a member of the Executive Committee of the University’s Trade Union and Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee, personally handed over 100 sets of Ao Dai to the “Giving Ao Dai, Spreading Love” initiative. This meaningful gift represents the solidarity and generosity of the university's trade union members. It also reaffirms the Trade Union’s commitment to community engagement, particularly in empowering women and supporting their development in life.
