Enhancing Teaching Quality Through Video Technology Application

On the afternoon of March 1, the Trade Union of the University of Economics collaborated with the Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics to launch the course "Lecture Video Design and Editing", attracting a large number of faculty members. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector and Chairwoman of the University's Trade Union. Representatives from Da Nang Radio and Television Station included Mr. Ngo Thanh Dong, a cameraman from the Specialized Programs Department, and Mr. Truong Thanh An, a graphic designer from the Technical - Technology Department.

M.A. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Director of the Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics, welcomed participants to the course.

In her opening speech, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh emphasized the importance of integrating technology into teaching, especially in the context of digital transformation. She affirmed that the course would help lecturers improve their skills in designing and editing lecture videos, enabling them to create more engaging, dynamic, and effective teaching materials.

The course is scheduled to run for seven sessions throughout March 2025, focusing on key topics such as filming techniques, video editing, image design, and technology applications in lecture production. With guidance from experts at Da Nang Radio and Television Station, university lecturers will have the opportunity to acquire practical skills that greatly support both online and in-person teaching.
