Female student Graduate from the University of Economics - University of Danang Achieves Runner-Up Title at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023

At the Grand Finale of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest held on August 27th, Truong Qui Minh Nhan, a recent graduate from the Faculty of International Business at the University of Economics - University of Danang, was honored to receive the Runner-Up title.

Having previously held the title of First Runner-Up in the "UDN Student Ambassador" competition (Miss & Mr. UDN in 2022), Minh Nhan truly captivated the audience and the judges with her beauty, knowledge, sincerity, and notably, her impeccable command of the English language. She met the "3B" criteria of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023, which stands for Beauty, Body, and Brain.

Minh Nhan's academic achievements during her time at DUE are truly remarkable and commendable. She achieved an IELTS score of 8.0 and was a core member of the TA Team (a team that assists in teaching English at the university). She also won first place in the weekly round and second place overall (both individually and as part of a team) in the Danang Wise English Olympic competition for the 2022-2023 academic year. Furthermore, she secured third place in the Student Scientific Research competition at the Faculty of International Business.

According to Minh Nhan, the conducive learning environment and inspiration provided by the University of Economics - University of Danang has offered students many opportunities to enrich themselves, accumulate knowledge and skills, and be prepared with the mindset to integrate through knowledge, language proficiency, and the enthusiasm and creativity of youth.

As a young person, I believe that to be of service to society, we can start with small acts stemming from our own good intentions. Moreover, each individual bears the responsibility towards themselves, which is a significant contribution to society.

In addition, young people who set goals and develop themselves through continuous learning, skill-building, and self-confidence will become a source of inspiration for those around them and actively contribute to the community, Minh Nhan shared.

The member universities of the University of Danang are nurturing and fostering the qualities of "goodness-beauty-talent" in their outstanding female students in national and international beauty contests, such as Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy (a student at the University of Foreign Languages - UDN) who achieved the title of "Miss Vietnam 2022," Nguyen Ha Kieu Loan (a former student at the University of Economics - UDN) who was crowned First Runner-Up in Miss World Vietnam, and Tran Nguyen Minh Thu (a former student at the University of Economics - UDN) who was named Third Runner-Up in Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. Minh Nhan continues this tradition by shining as the Second Runner-Up in Miss Grand Vietnam 2023.
