Through the process of exchange and active work, on the afternoon of March 1, the University of Economics - University of Danang officially signed a cooperation agreement with Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), Da Nang branch. Attending the signing ceremony on the side of SHB Bank, Da Nang branch were Mr. Dang Viet Anh - Director of SHB Da Nang branch; Mr. Bui Van Huong – Head of Corporate Clients Department; Ms. Do Thi Thu Diem - Head of Accounting Department concurrently with Human Resources Administration and leaders of Transaction Offices under SHB Bank, Da Nang branch. On the side of University of Economics, there was the presence of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy – Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thieu Quang, Deputy Head of Department - Training Department, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Dean of Banking Faculty and many cadres, lecturers, and students of Banking Faculty.

According to the cooperation agreement signed between the two parties, SHB will commit to awarding talented scholarships every year to students of the University of Economics, organize internship programs, and prioritize recruiting university’s students; coordinate in organizing events, career guidance and skill development activities for students; The University of Economics will also conduct short-term training courses to enhance knowledge for SHB officers and employees; The two sides also cooperate closely in the field of scientific research and training of high-quality human resources.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy emphasized that the cooperation agreement is an important milestone for the cooperation relationship between University of Economics and SHB, Da Nang branch. This is a step forward for the University as well as businesses to strengthen digital transformation, train human resources as well as bring more job opportunities to learners. The University of Economics continuously updates and improves the training program, including the significant contribution of the business community, so Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy hopes that from the cooperation agreement, the training programs of the Finance - Banking industry will have a more obvious presence of SHB bank, Da Nang branch, contributing to improving the quality of training of the school.
