Becoming the new Miss Tourism Danang in 2022 is a special mark for the youth of Tran Nguyen Minh Thu (student in class 45K03.3, Faculty of Tourism, the University of Economics, the University of Danang). This is an honor, showing the passion to live to the fullest for the youth without regrets of the new Miss.

Until now, Minh Thu still can't forget the feeling at that time, it was unexpected, nervous, and indescribable emotion at the coronation. “My tears were really shed when receiving this noble award. I am very touched when my efforts in the past time are worth it”, shared Minh Thu.

The appearance of runner-up Ha Kieu Loan (1st runner-up Miss World Vietnam 2019), a famous beauty from DUE is also one of the motivations for Minh Thu to participate in this beauty contest. Thu confided: "When I went to the same DUE university with runner-up Ha Kieu Loan, I was also very proud when my school had achievements in beauty." Through the time participating in the contest, meeting and interacting with friends and people around, Minh Thu learned more experience and skills about the catwalk, especially the professional way of working of the team and Organizing Committee.

Recalling the time since participating in the contest, Minh Thu still cannot forget the support of family, friends, and teachers who encouraged her spirit, “During the course of the competition, I was very happy and fortunate to have the support from DUE lecturers and friends, and I am very thankful to teachers and friends for supporting me during the contest," Minh Thu added.

As a student of the Faculty of Tourism, Minh Thu feels the advantages of tourism students when becoming Miss Tourism. Minh Thu said: “I am studying tourism, this is also an advantage for me when I become Miss Tourism Danang 2022. I have been strengthened and know a lot of knowledge about tourism that I have learned on DUE so that I can better understand the orientations to stimulate tourism demand”.

The journey to conquer the dream to the crown of Miss Tourism Da Nang requires great investment and effort. To the dynamic, young, modern DUE students who are global citizens, “Please be confident, if you have a dream, follow your passion to the end. When I entered the contest, I did not think I would be crowned Miss. I just thought that I try and do my best in the journey to participate in the contest, and in the end, my efforts were really worth it”, Minh Thu said excitedly.

The enrollment season is coming, high school students must be facing many choices of majors, careers, and schools for the future. Minh Thu shared: "In my opinion, the profession is also a part of deciding for the future because when I love and choose the right major, I will have the right orientation."

Honored to receive the noble crown of Miss Tourism Da Nang 2022, in the immediate future, I will fulfill my role best when I am trusted by the Organizing Committee, the jury, the audience, etc. to give this position. Through this, Minh Thu wishes to accompany and contribute her small efforts to the promotion of Da Nang tourism during her term of operation and the future.
