Excellent due researcher won "best article" award at ICYREB conference in 2020

The framework of the “International Conference for Young Researchers in Economics and Business 2020 - ICYREB 2020" was held on January 15 at the University of Commerce (Hanoi), MA. Tran Danh Nhan (Faculty of E-commerce - University of Economics - University of Da Nang) was awarded 01 out of three "Best Article" prizes by the Organizing Committee with the topic "Impact of smartphones on the use of mobile payments: An empirical study in the Vietnamese context ”. This year's seminar was held at the University of Commerce in collaboration with the National Economics University, Banking Academy, Academy of Finance, University of Economics (National University Hanoi), University of Economics - Hue University, University of Economics - the University of Da Nang and the University of Economics - Law (National University of Ho Chi Minh City).

 In order for Scientific and technological activities to meet the development of the society, researchers, scientists, especially faculty must be the core force in research and application of research results in all fields of ​​social life. Intellectuals in general and young scientists in particular need to be creative and enthusiastic to become subjects, social assets, and intellectual driving force, especially important in scientific and technological activities towards building the foundations of the Knowledge Economy. In the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the role of young intellectuals and young scientists is the foundation for development, reflecting the strength of the nation. The international scientific seminar “Young Researchers in Economics and Business 2020 – ICYREB” is organized with the aim of fostering and developing a team of young competent researchers and creating scientific products on a regional and international level.

The seminar consisted of the plenary session held at Hall H3 and 4 discussion sessions at Hall H2, Conference rooms of Building F and Meeting Room No. 1, Building I the University of Commerce with the participation of more than 150 policymakers, business executives, researchers, and media outlets.

Specifically, attending and directing the workshop, there were Ph.D. Tran Nam Tu - Deputy Director of Department of Science, Technology, and Environment, Ministry of Education and Training. On the side of the workshop co-organizer, there were Prof, Ph.D. Tran Thi Van Hoa - Vice-Rector of National Economics University; Associate Professor, Ph.D. Le Van Luyen - Deputy Director of Banking Academy; Associate Professor, Ph.D. Truong Thi Thuy - Deputy Director of the Academy of Finance; Ph.D. Phan Khoa Cuong - Chairman of Council of the University of Economics - Hue; Ph.D. Dang Huu Man - Head of Science and International Cooperation Department of University of Economics - Danang University; Associate Professor, Ph.D. Trinh Quoc Trung - Head of Scientific Management Department, University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh City National University.

On the side of the University of Commerce, there were Assoc. Bui Huu Duc - Chairman of the School Council; Associate Professor, Ph.D. Nguyen Hoang - Vice Rector in charge of the School; Associate Professor, Ph.D. Do Minh Thanh - School Vice Rector; Associate Professor, Ph.D. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan - Vice-Rector of the University; Heads (Deputy) of faculties, departments under the University, the staff have articles and interested comrades.

The workshop listened to the report and 20 direct discussion reports at 4 sessions and the critical opinions, direct exchanges of scientists, policymakers. The reports all show the diversity of research topics, the approaches have many new points and all show the passion, the spirit of learning and the research of the reporters.

 End of the workshop, together with the MSc's articles. Tran Danh Nhan, 2 other research papers were also awarded the "Best Article", including: "Causal relationship between FDI, trade openness and economic growth in Vietnam by ARDL test” presented by MA. Nguyen Hai Yen, Lecturer of the University of Economics - Hue University; “Informal credit and financial performance of SMEs in Vietnam” presented by MSc. Do Phu Dong, a lecturer at Banking Academy.

The seminar with the theme "Young researchers in the economic and business sector 2020 - ICYREB 2020" is really successful and has a really important meaning in both theory and practice - is a scientific forum for lecturers Young researchers and researchers present their research, exchange, share experiences and discuss topics of economic, business and management studies.
