CAREER ORIENTATION TALK - STRIVING, ADAPTING, AND BREAKING THROUGH IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

University life is not only about classroom learning but also about gradually shaping one’s future career. On April 19, 2026, the Faculty of Tourism, University of Economics – The University of Danang, organized a career orientation talk for Cohort 51 students at Hall E. The event offered students a practical insight into the hotel industry, highlighting not only its professional image but also the dedication, adaptability, and growth required behind the scenes.
The talk featured Ms. Nguyễn Thị Quý Trâm, Assistant Human Resources Manager at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, who shared valuable insights into her career journey, from entering the workforce to progressing into a managerial role. Through her real-world experiences, students gained a better understanding of different stages of career development, the skills and professional attitudes required in the industry, and how to prepare for their future careers while still at university.
