CAREER ORIENTATION TALK: STRIVING, ADAPTING, AND BREAKING THROUGH IN THE EVENT INDUSTRY

On the afternoon of April 19, 2026, the Faculty of Tourism successfully organized an online career orientation talk titled “Striving, Adapting, and Breaking Through in the Event Industry” for students majoring in Event Management. The session offered practical insights into the event industry, a dynamic field that demands flexibility, resilience under pressure, and the ability to adapt to constant change.
Through the sharing session with Ms. Võ Phan Hoài Thương, Producer Supervisor at EnterSpace, students gained a clearer understanding of career development in the event industry, from taking their first steps to gaining experience and advancing professionally. Her real-life stories about workplace challenges, job-related pressures, key career turning points, and the skills and attitudes required at different stages helped students better understand industry expectations and prepare for their future careers.
