Students of the University of Economics – The University Danang win the second prize of "Student research in Danang - 2018"

In the afternoon of March 23, the award ceremony of the "Student Research in Danang - 2018" took place. The final contest consisted of 42 topics from universities, colleges, and professional secondary schools in the city such as Da Nang University, Duy Tan University. The ceremony attracted many students from all schools.

 This year, the student research competition attracted 72 topics and solutions of nearly 200 students from universities and colleges in the area. The Organization Board selected 42 topics and solutions to the final, including 37 subjects and solutions in the field of science and technology and 5 topics and solutions in the field of humanities and social sciences. Through evaluation, 11 topics and solutions have received noble awards from the Contest Organizing Committee.

 Accordingly, the organizers awarded the first prize to a group of students from the University of Technology – The University Danang with the topic "3D Ceramic Printer". The second prize belongs to two groups of students from Polytechnic University with the topic "Research, design, and manufacture of natural oil distillation equipment" and the University of Economics – The University Danang with the topic " Research and propose solutions to ChatBot technology “ which was instructed by MSc. Nguyen Thanh Thuy.

Three third prizes for 3 groups of authors, in which, there are 2 groups from University of Technology with the topic "Experimental study of refrigeration equipment by the method of indirect evaporation of Maisotsenko cycle" and the topic "Research on manufacturing porous glass materials and applications"; one group of authors comes from the University of Technology and Education with the topic "Warning sticks to support the elderly".

In addition, the organizers also awarded 5 consolation prizes to 5 groups of authors, of which 3 groups came from University of Technology, 1 group of authors from University of Education (Da Nang University) and 1 group of Duy Tan University.

On this occasion, Department of Science and Technology also launched the 2019 scientific research student contest to call for the participation of students studying at universities and colleges in Danang. The time for the exam is from March to December 2016.

The second prize of the contest "Da Nang City research students in 2018" is a worthy achievement for efforts and passion for scientific creativity of teachers and students of the University of Economics, and at the same time proves the investment policy, encourage scientific research, including improving the research capacity of the community of young scientists of the University of Economics - Danang University.
