Centurion group (Japan) want to set up a long-term recruitment of DUE’s students

In the morning of 20th May, 2019, the representatives of Centurion Group (Japan) paid a visit to DUE and discussed about the guidelines of co-operation in training and recruitment of students graduated from Faculty of Tourism – University of Economics. In greeting the Centurion Group, there were Dr. Dang Huu Man – Deputy of Department of Science and International Cooperation, Dr. Truong Sy Quy – Dean of Faculty of Tourism and lecturers from the Faculty of Tourism.

In the beginning of the meeting, representative of Centurion Group introduced about their basic information, the scale of the group as well as their major lines of business in Japan and Vietnam. Centurion is a multi-business group located in Japan. Their lines of business include restaurants and hospitality, real estates, theme parks and so on.. Currently, Centurion is successfully operating in Vietnam and has the aim to expand their businesses in both Japan and Vietnam as well as other nations in the region. Thus, Centurion Group has a huge demand on human resources, especially high-quality labors with management ability and experience. Centurion Group hoped that DUE’s students would pay more attention to their recruitment campaign and have the chances to receive internship and full-time job at the Group.

 

 

 

On behalf of University of Economics, Dr. Dang Huu Man welcomed the supports from Centuria Group. DUE is also currently putting more consideration to the qualities and career opportunities of students after graduating. Thus, the University take a lot of effort to build relationship with enterprises. DUE stated that the University would inform students of Centurion Group. In addition, DUE also suggested that Centurion Group collaborate with the University in training necessary workplace skills and foreign languages.

Centurion Group claimed that they would co-operate tightly with the University in training skills, conducting career orientation and providing scholarships for students with excellent performance. This is a valuable opportunity for students to experience a studying and working environment in Japan and improve their workplace skills related to restaurant and hospitality before coming back to Vietnam to work for Centurion.

 

In the meeting, the two sides also discussed about the guidelines of co-operation as well as resolved the difficulties in transferring students to Japan for internship and working. The two sides believe that a co-operation agreement will be signed as soon as possible to foster the relationship between University of Economics and Centurion Group (Japan).
