International conference on "Poverty dynamics and sustainable development of Vietnam – Thailand”

In the framework of TVSEP project - Thailand Vietnam Socio Economic Panel, in 2 days of April 5 and April 6, International Conference on "poverty dynamics and sustainable development of vietnam – thailand" was held at the University of Economics – the University of Da Nang. The workshop attracted the participation of scientists and experts from the Project Management Unit of TVSEP, representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ha Tinh, Thua Thien - Hue and Dak Lak provinces and the University of Economics.

Representatives of co-organizers, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Vice Rector of the University of Economics said that the University cooperated with Leibniz Hannover University (Germany) to develop TVSEP project in Vietnam, and set up a representative office at the University of Economy. This project aims to build a database for the study of factors affecting poverty reduction and sustainable development for developing countries. International Conference on "poverty dynamics and sustainable development of Vietnam – Thailand" is one of the activities to build relationships and exchange of knowledge between domestic and foreign scientists. In the upcoming time, the University of Economics is committed to continuing to cooperate with Leibniz Hannover University to develop projects and organize workshops of international stature.

Signing a cooperation agreement for TVSEP project development in Vietnam

At the seminar, representatives of the University of Economics also signed a memorandum of understanding on the cooperation agreement to develop TVSEP project with Leibniz Hannover University. This is a memorable milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two schools, while affirming the policy of the University of Economics in expanding the relationship with domestic and foreign partners, with the purpose of contributing part for national prosperity and a responsible and productive science community.

The workshop took place for 2 days with interesting topics, high levels of scientific knowledge and received many reviews, quality suggestions from scientists and experts.
