1. DUE - the prestigious choice of candidates for university entrance exam in 2018
In 2018, the school has successfully enrolled with more than 3000 full-time students. The entry points of all majors are high in comparison to universities throughout the country

To accomplish that, The University of Economics – The University of Danang always focuses on renewing the training program to meet the learning needs of students during the integration period. Program framework of each discipline is adjusted year by year to suit the actual work needs of businesses. In particular, the IT industry (including Information Management System, E-Commerce) and Tourism industry will be trained under specific regulations, increasing 30-50% of practice time at enterprises. Besides, the school also signed many cooperation agreements to join hands with enterprises to improve the qualifications and practical capacity of students in the process of learning, meeting the requirements of high quality human resources today.
2. Affirming the brand through prestigious workshops.
ICOAF, MICA, VICIF are prestigious international and national conferences that the University of Economics - The University of Danang co-organized and hosted last year. International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF) with the participation of leading keynote speakers. The International Conference on Finance in Vietnam (VICIF) is a financially prestigious forum co-organized annually by the University of Economics - The University of Danang which attracts many prominent national and international scientists. International Makerting Workshop in the Connected Era (MICA 2018) with the hot topic of "Marketing and new technology wave" attracts many excellent research projects. The Conference of Management and Business Science (COMB) has become a prestigious forum for researchers to meet the business community, contributing to promoting the transfer of knowledge into practice.

In 2018, the University continued to implement many international cooperation projects to improve the capacity of lecturers and students, carry forward many teachers and dozens of students to study and research at partner schools foreign students under the exchange program, 2 + 2, 3 + 1 programs, receiving many foreign students, lecturers and tutors to teach and study at the school.

5. Favorable start-up environment - creating a solid stepping stone for students' dream of starting a business
With the desire to inspire and start a career for the young generation in the school chair, The University of Economics – The University of Danang is one of the first schools in the country to bring the subject "Business Start" into teaching. . The school has also created a very unique startup playground called Startup Runway. The contest is organized in 4 big cities in the Central region: Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hue and Quy Nhon which has created an environment for young people to express ideas, practice practices, meet prestigious experts to learn, advise and improve themselves. Unlike other playgrounds, Danang Startup Runway does not promote ideas on paper but motivates the candidates to experience reality and realize with specific products. With the creativity of Da Nang Economic Youth, the final projects are practical and have long-term prospects and attract attention to businesses and investors.

6. Successful bidding and conducting research on national-level scientific topics, code KX.01 / 16-20:
Within the framework of the State-level project code KX.01 / 16-20: "Assessing the impact of free trade agreements on economic structure and identifying sectors with development advantages in economic structure of Vietnam ”, University of Economics has coordinated to organize many seminars. In particular, in March 2018, the workshop "General equilibrium model and methods for analyzing the impact of free trade agreements on the national economic structure" took place, with the participation of domestic and foreign scientists. 12/2018 is a series of seminars and seminars in the Northern provinces including the workshop "Impact of Free Trade Agreements on Vietnam's economic structure" at Foreign Trade University (December 3). 8. Inaugurating and putting into use works for learning and living activities for students
In the investment strategy, upgrading facilities and equipment for learning and living activities for learners, in 2018, the school also inaugurated and put into use some important works such as: International student dormitory and Marketing and Tourism practice area.

Started in 12/2016 and put into use in August 2018, the international student dormitory has 5 floors with 36 self-contained rooms, fully equipped with modern facilities to meet more than 200 accommodation for DUE students along with a collective kitchen and a private, comfortable and luxurious apartment area. The project not only has the meaning of improving the lives of international students at DUE but also shows the solidarity between Vietnamese and Laos. In addition, the school also put into use the practice area for Marketing students with modern equipment, and in the near future is the 3-star hotel-tourism practice area to train practical and professional skills for Tourism students of the University.
9. Welcoming the new trend, the University of Economics – The University of Danang established the Faculty of Electronic Commerce and changed the name of the Faculty of Commerce into International Business Faculty.
In April 2018, the University of Economics – The University of Danang announced the decision to establish the Faculty of E-Commerce, changing the name of the Faculty of Commerce to International Business Faculty and appointing managers. Accordingly, the Department of E-Commerce was established on the basis of merging 2 specialties, namely Business Administration and E-commerce major with PhD. Vo Quang being the Head of the Faculty. The Faculty of Commerce has also been renamed into the International Business Faculty with the current major of training as Foreign Trade with PhD. Nguyen Thi Thuy being the Head of Faculty.
This is a new milestone for the two Faculties of E-Commerce and International Business in particular and the University of Economics – The University of Dananng in general, serving the goal of training high-quality human resources in the current commercial business, especially in the context of increasingly demanding human resources in the industrial revolution 4.0.
10. Summarizing the results of 05 years of helping Hoa Vang district to build new rural areas, the University of Economics – The University of Danang continues to sign an agreement in the period of 2018-2020
Continuing the task of helping Hoa Vang district to build new rural areas, in 4/2018, the University of Economics – The University of Danang has signed a contract to support Hoa Vang to build new rural areas in the period of 2018-2020, specifically: The Unversity will support and build the website promoting agricultural products in Hoa Vang district; continue to organize professional training courses for district officials; granting scholarships to students in Hoa Vang district with difficult circumstances who are studying at the University of Economics. The Youth Union of the University of Economics and Youth Union of Hoa Vang district will coordinate in implementing a project on sustainable economic development or a project to support youths to set up a career in the district...
The agreement was signed as an opportunity for the school to continue to use its strengths to join hands to build a growing Hoa Vang, becoming the bright spot of the new rural construction program across the country, thereby affirming its commitment to implementing the mission of serving the prosperous development of the community of DUE brand which is reaching out to shine every day.
