A new cooperation program between University of Economics – The University of Danang and The University of Westphalian (Germany)

From November 12 to November 17, the delegation of University of Economics – The University of Danang including: Assoc.Prof Nguyen Manh Toan - School Principal, Assoc.Prof Nguyen Phuc Nguyen - Head of Science & International Cooperation Department and MSc. Phan Kim Tuan - Head of Organization and Administration Department visited and worked at Westphalian University (Germany). The trip has promoted the cooperation between the two universities and leaders have agreed on a number of directions for cooperation in training and scientific research in the coming time.

Specifically, at the Bocholt campus, Assoc.Prof Nguyen Manh Toan has worked directly with the Head of Business School at Westphalian University. The delegation paid a visit to the campus of Bocholt University to study and study the conditions of study and research for reference. Besides, Assoc.Prof Nguyen Phuc Nguyen also taught international students at the postgraduate program of Westphalian University and left many good impressions.

At the Gelsenkirchen site, the delegation met and worked directly with the Director of the University of Westphalian: Prof. Bernd Kriegesmann and Prof.Dr. Katrin Hansen - Deputy Director The two sides discussed the development of training cooperation, transfer and exchange of students and coordinated the organization of international seminars. Basically, the two sides agreed on the directions for cooperation and will soon implement the next cooperation. Assoc.Prof Nguyen Manh Toan also sent an invitation to Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan. Bernd Kriegesmann visited University of Economics – The University of Danang to visit and organize academic activities. The director happily accepted and said he would arrange to work directly at the University of Economics – The University of Danang in the near future.

Also on the mission, Assoc.Prof Nguyen Phuc Nguyen also discussed with Nadine Hackmann - Head of International Cooperation Department about international cooperation projects between two universities. At the same time, the University of Westphalian also organized University of Economics – The University of Danang visit the creative space of the University. Besides, Assoc.Prof Nguyen Manh Toan also met directly and visited exchange students of Westphalian University.
