The night concert Welcoming 44th class students: DUE youth with the “Blue dream”

Within the joyful atmosphere of new academic year, The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Students Union of the University of Economics – The University of Danang co-organized the night concert to welcome new students 44K with the theme “Touch the blue dream.” The concert with many amazing performances is evidence to the active, passion and creativity of DUE youth.

The concert was attended by Dr. Duong Nguyen Minh Huy – Secretary of Ho Cho Minh Communist Youth Union of The University of Danang; representatives of sponsors: Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh – Director of ABBank, Mrs. Trinh Thi My Anh – Head of Key Account Marketing Department – Suntory Pepsico, Mrs. Nguyen Truc Minh Thu – Manager of English 4U language Centre, Mrs. Nguyen Hoang Thanh Thao – Director of Indec Centre. As for the University of Economics, attendance at the concert included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen – Vice-rector of DUE; presentative of Faculties, Departments, and Centers; and thousands of DUE students.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen emphasized that the night concert “Touch the blue dream” was a remark for new students to start their next years at DUE. Also, this was also a commitment from former students to support the new generation to achieve their dreams. On behalf of the board of rectors, lecturers, and administrators of DUE, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen sent his best wishes to all students in the academic year 2018 – 2019.

At the concert, sponsors from English4U Centre and Indec Centre, Vietnam Petrolimex Insurance Corporation – Danang Branch also offered DUE with 13 scholarships. This scholarship not only encouraged students but was also the commitment from enterprises and benefactors to support students in studying.

The night concert “Touch the blue dream” began with modern and wonderful performances from faculties and clubs. Also, the students also brought about traditional dances, singing and dancing with new vibes. Altogether, the concert reflected the youth and liveliness of students of University of Economics – The University of Danang. A special surprise from Students Union was a birthday event for every student born in 29/9.
