Sharing experiences, enhancing efficiency of activities of Trade Union

On 29/9, 80 administrators from trade unions affiliated to Trade Unions of University of Economics and University of Foreign Languages attended Workshop “Sharing skills of administrators of Trade Union” (held at DUE). Attendance at the workshop was MSc. Huynh Thi Kim Ha – Head of Trade Union Department of The University of Danang. MSc. Ho Phan Hieu – Vice-chairman of Trade Union of Functional Department of The University of Danang, MSc. Pham Thi Thu Huong – Chairwoman of Trade Union of University of Foreign Languages, the presentative of trade unions of member units of The University of Economics. On behalf of University of Economics, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen – Vice-rector of DUE and Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Thu – Chairwoman of Trade Union of DUE.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen said that this is an occasion for exchanging and learning from experiences of activities of trade unions of two universities. Also, the connecting activities between two universities will tighten the relationship and promote group spirit and creativity, and create a delightful atmosphere for administrators and labors.

Attending the workshop, the presentative from Trade Union of University of Foreign Languages delivered papers “EQ and administrators of Trade Union.” Administrators of the University of Foreign Languages shared experiences about how to control emotions, encourage and refresh ourselves to accomplish daily tasks. Moreover, administrators of a trade union should also learn how to sympathize with colleagues, friends and understand themselves to balance relationships in daily life and at work.

Administrators shared tips on how to balance emotions at work
Attending the Workshop, speaker Summerfield Patricia Ann – Advisor at Inner Space Centre shared her tips about efficient communication, anxiety relief and how to enjoy a meaningful life. Mrs. Summerfield brought delivered many useful messages about education for children and students; or how to limit the pessimistic things and spread the optimistic ones in life. Especially, she empathized that: every day, we communicate with many people but forget the importance of talking with ourselves. It is because talking with ourselves is a way to understand what we want, determine our directions and aim to further goals. She also gave each person a “diamond” which reflects him/ her value so that we can understand our values, each human beings’ value and learn how to respect ourselves and others. Her sharing ended with many priceless living experiences. These will be tips for all of the participants at the workshop that need to be considered and applied in daily life and at work.

Connecting moments of administrators of Trade Union of two Universities
At the end of the workshop, administrators of Trade Union of two Universities had some moments to communicate and share experiences about trade union activities. These moments were an occasion for administrators of Trade Union of two Universities to learn more useful things for life to enhance efficiency in activities of trade union and their specialized tasks.
