DUE unifies cooperation in many fields with Queensland University of Technology (Australia)

On the morning of July 9^th, the delegation of Queensland University of Technology, Australia were: Mr. Timothy Cheeseman - Director of International Business Development, Ms. Sinna Keurulainen, International Marketing Officer and Ms. Amanda Huynh, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Vietnam. The delegation was greeted by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Phuc Nguyen - Head of Science & International Cooperation.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed exchange programs, transfer students, lecturers, strengthen cooperation in scientific research and training cooperation. The University of Economics proposes a transfer program for students in the form of 2 + 2 (2 years in Vietnam and 2 years in the partner school). This is a transfer form which was successfully implemented by the University of Economics with partners in England, Germany and New Zealand. The QUT team has also experienced collaborative training with partners in Southeast Asia, especially in Vietnam so the two sides are very confident about a cooperation agreement will be signed in the near future. The University of Economics will exchange more details of study programs, transfer conditions as well as scholarship support, follow-up for students. The school has the opportunity to study and improve in Australia.

In addition, the University of Economics also organizes summer semesters for international students. Throughout the summer semester, international students will have the opportunity to experience the learning environment, learn about the culture and the people of Vietnam, and will also engage in exchanges between students from both schools. Timothy Cheeseman said he would introduce the summer term to QUT students and hoped that QUT students would have the opportunity to experience at University of Economics - University of Da Nang.
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Phuc Nguyen also introduced the Education Fair organized by the school. Organized every two years, the conference is a bridge for the dream of reaching the world of students and students in Da Nang city. QUT representatives expressed their excitement and interest in attending the upcoming Education Fair 2019. Besides, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Phuc Nguyen also sent invitations to attend large seminars under the brand name of DUE such as International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF), Marketing Conference in Connected Era (MICA)...

Representatives of the two universities have discussed the cooperation in training, diplomas, post-graduate training, and extra-curricular training programs according to the needs of enterprises. Meeting between the University of Economics - Danang University and the University Queensland University of Technology has been successful with a variety of co-ordinated directions. Representatives of the University of Economics believe that the partnership will be firmly established and that the two universities will become strategic partners in the future.
