On October 20, the International Education Fair 2017 was held at University of Economics - the University of Danang (UE-UD). On behalf of the University of Danang, Assoc Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu –Vice President attended the event. The fair had attendance of the representatives of 11 international universities including the representative of the sponsor - Mr. Le Phi Thao, Deputy Head of Business Division of Sacombank in Da Nang, representatives of Le Quy Don High School and Phan Chau Trinh High School and more than 1000 parents, high school students, students of Da Nang city.

At the opening ceremony, the leaders of UE-UD gave the freshest bouquets to partners from Europe, America and Oceania and expressed the expectation in tightening their relations in a wide range of fields and aspects. The Organizing Committee also thanked the main sponsor of the Edufair - Sai Gon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Da Nang Branch (Sacombank - Da Nang Branch).

Shortly after the opening ceremony, representatives of partner schools conducted introductory sessions at Hall E and face-to-face counseling at Hall A. The atmosphere of the conference was extremely vibrant with consulting activities and discussion as well as performances and the mini games. Le Duc Bao Thach (Faculty of Economics - University of Economics) excitedly said: "Today's conference is not only an information channel to learn directly about the leading universities in the world, but also it is an opportunity for me to realize my path of study. Currently, I’m interested in exchange programs between the UE-UD with partner schools. Particularly, I know that through the 2 + 2 and 3 + 1 articulation programs, students can obtain diplomas abroad with international quality and efficiency. Hopefully through this seminar, I can find exchange scholarships in order to obtain the opportunity to experience the overseas learning environment in the future.

Attending the fair, there were quite a lot of high school students in Da Nang city. This is an opportunity for students to visit, learn about the UE-UD, and be a bridge for students to realize the dream of studying in an advanced educational environment. Hoang Thi Thuy Hang (Phan Chau Trinh High School) shared: "The activities of the workshops are very attractive and bring with plenty of useful information to us. In addition to study abroad information, we also visit the campus, facilities, experience the educational environment at the UE-UD. This is the motivation for my determination to enroll in UE-UD and hope this is a cornerstone for me to fulfill my dream of studying abroad in the future.”
Newcastle University (UK) representative - Matthew Lewis said: "This is impressive. The professional and dedicated organization made us more convenient in introducing, contacting, consulting with the students. Moreover, the students here are very active in finding opportunities to step out in the world and obtain a good level of English. I am very impressed by this! " Beside studying abroad information, the institutions also brought to the Edufair 2017 a lot of information on scholarship policies, including tuition fees, living expenses to support students to conquer the dream of studying and explore the world.
The second Education Fair 2017 has left a good impression in the international partners as well as parents and students. Through this Edufair, parents and students have the overview of the academic environment abroad and make the right choices for the future. The success of the International Education Fair 2017 continues to affirm the prestige and brand of the UE- to the leading international partners, contributing to the implementation of UE-UD’s goal as becoming a high-quality training center for human resources as well as transfer of technology in economic and management science across the country and Southeast Asia.
