Mr. Mai Xuan Hung presented an overview of the Study Tour program
The Study Tour program is divided into two main centers: the Creative Fabric and Textile Design Center and the Vietnam Studies Center. Both play vital roles in preserving local heritage and promoting intercultural communication.
- At the Creative Fabric and Textile Design Center, students will be introduced to the center’s mission and creative initiatives through an orientation video. Carry out communication tasks such as designing promotional materials for handmade textile products (flyers, videos, social media posts, etc.). Visit Ban Chiang Yuen craft village to observe silk weaving techniques, natural dyeing, and the silkworm-raising process. Directly discuss with local artisans the role of textile design in cultural preservation and sustainable economic development. Participate in an internal pitching session as a creative team, proposing packaging ideas and communication campaigns for a hypothetical client. At the end of the activity, students will present their group projects and receive feedback from advisors - a valuable step to develop critical thinking and presentation skills.
