Graduation Ceremony for Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's Degrees - The Beginning of Success

On March 15, The University of Economics - The University of Danang solemnly held the first Graduation Ceremony of 2025 to honor doctoral candidates, master's students, and bachelor's graduates who have successfully completed their academic and research programs.

The event was attended by Ms. Lienseng Phengsavath - First Secretary of the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Vice President of the University of Danang; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy - Rector of the University; former Rectors Prof. Dr. Trương Bá Thanh (former Vice President of the University of Danang) and Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Tien; representatives from Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR; representatives of relevant departments of the University of Danang; members of the University’s Board of Directors; leaders of faculties and departments, faculty members, students, and the newly conferred Ph.D. holders, master’s graduates, bachelor’s graduates, and their families.

Overview of the graduation ceremony

The graduation ceremony marks a significant milestone in the academic and research journey of the new Ph.D. holders, master's graduates, and bachelor's graduates. It is also an opportunity for the university to express gratitude to families and faculty members while congratulating the graduates who have successfully completed their programs.

At the ceremony, representatives of the university leadership extended their congratulations to all the new Ph.D. holders, master's graduates, and bachelor's graduates of DUE. This graduation ceremony honored 10 new Ph.D. holders, 71 new master's graduates, and 382 new bachelor's graduates, including 1 Ph.D., 9 master's, and 1 bachelor's graduate from the Lao PDR. These individuals have overcome numerous challenges to proudly receive their degrees at this solemn event.

Representatives of the graduates delivered emotional speeches expressing deep gratitude to their families and professors, who have supported, encouraged, and imparted knowledge throughout their educational journey. They also affirmed that, wherever they go, they will always cherish their time at DUE and take pride in being part of the university’s alumni community.
