On the morning of November 15, the University of Economics - University of Danang (DUE) held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with East Asia Management University, Cambodia (EAMU) to demonstrate a mutual commitment to promoting academic cooperation and cultural exchange between the two universities.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from EAMU, including James Chua, Vice President of EAMU, and Charlene Han, Student Advisor. On behalf of DUE, the ceremony saw the presence of Associate Professor Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector, along with leaders from the Departments of Administration, Academic Affairs, and Scientific Research and International Cooperation.

The ceremony marked a milestone in the partnership between the two universities with the signing of the MoU, laying a foundation for future collaborative activities. In his speech, Associate Professor Doan Ngoc Phi Anh emphasized the importance of this partnership, opening up numerous opportunities for development for both sides. He also expressed confidence that through this collaboration, students from both institutions would gain additional practical skills and knowledge, thereby contributing to the shared development of both countries and the region.

Meanwhile, James Chua expressed his excitement about the collaborative prospects and shared his vision for a sustainable relationship in the future. He believes that with the support and commitment from both sides, this partnership will continue to grow stronger, contributing to the progress of integration and development in the region.

DUE and East Asia Management University, Cambodia agreed to collaborate in key areas such as: promoting mutual academic exchanges; facilitating reciprocal visits between the two parties; supporting research activities for faculty and students; collaborating in undergraduate and postgraduate training programs as well as joint internships; organizing workshops, symposiums, and conferences; and exchanging publications and materials for educational and research purposes.

The signing of the MoU between DUE and EAMU is a practical step in realizing DUE’s strategy of internationalizing education, while also affirming the university's role in fostering and expanding the international education community.

In a solemn atmosphere, the two parties exchanged flowers and gifts, symbolizing unity.

After the signing ceremony, the two sides discussed future cooperation activities. This session aimed to explore potential areas for joint research, student exchanges, and other academic activities.

Additionally, the EAMU delegation toured the DUE campus, providing an opportunity to learn more about the academic environment and community of the university, while also strengthening the friendship and connection between the two institutions.
